It's Just a Choice!
You have to be willing to ask for what you desire and choose it. Yep, it is that simple. The thing is, most of us aren't taught to do this. What we’ve been asking for shows up and we don't choose it….or anything. If you want to start creating your life, you've got to be willing to choose, and choose again, and again, and again.
I've been very aware of this in my world lately. Did I always have this awareness? No. I used to go deep into trauma and drama when presented with a choice and the poor pathetic me would show up and take the reigns....hold onto your pants...the crazy train has arrived! I’d spend days going around asking everyone else their point of view, but never once did I ask myself what I desired or what was light and expansive in my world.
When I find myself in this choice tug of war and things start to get uncomfortable and unfamiliar, I ask questions. And a lot of them. Again…yep, it is that simple. When did you decide it has to be hard? Questions unlock possibilities. If you’re willing to ask a questions free of judgement, more becomes available to you. Questions are my magic wand and my best friend. I no longer have to ask everyone else what they “think.” I can choose for me, knowing that my awareness for myself is always spot on.
What’s the worst that could happen? You choose something that isn’t actually aligned with you and if that occurs, you stop, choose again, and again, and again until you've created the life you desire.
Here are my top 3 go to questions I ask when presented with a choice:
I’m not looking for an answer here; it’s about receiving awareness, not answers. After asking, do you and the energy feel light or heavy? Expansive or contractive?
1.What will my life look like in 5, 10, 15 years if I choose this?
- What will it look like if I don’t choose it?
2. Will it be fun for me?
3. Will it contribute to my life, my money flows, and the Earth?
If it all feels light and expansive, I head that direction because that’s the energy I’d like to create for my future. I desire fun, light, expansive energy…not heavy, dark, contractive energy.
Choice creates. Choice creates everything.
