What if questioning is the answer? What if questioning could change your life? Have you ever wondered? ....
I wasn't always a fan of questioning. I thought a question lead to an answer which lead to stuck-ness and conclusion. I have waited a long time to find the answer....and then I decided to stop looking for it. You want to know a secret? There isn't an answer to life! Yep, I said it. What's the energy an answer creates anyway? In my world it feels like, "Welp, that's it, I found the answer now I can stop creating and die." How much fun is that? I find it funny that so many of us think that's it...that one answer will change it all. Maybe if we finally get our diet right, we'll have the answer that unlocks it all. Maybe if we finally get our body right, we'll have the key. Maybe if we get the right job, we'll make the right amount of money....and then what? Have you found the answers to your problems? Has anyone? Or, the second you think you found it, something else show up to throw you right back into question?
What if it's not about finding the answer? What if it's about finding joy? How do you do this? Question everything...
Questioning to find answers has always bugged me. Even is school I despised finding answers. I was the kid that chose to resist math problems and find the most creative approach to finding an answer. For me it wasn't about the answer, it was about the journey. I never knew why teachers told me I was wrong for it...and for the longest time I thought I was wrong for being that creative. Now I now that was B.S. Today, I'm still that way. What if it's not about finding an answer? What if it's about choice. Do answers create choice? Or does questioning create choice? And in the act of questioning, then choosing...does that create joy? A bit of mind blower...I know!
Here are a few of my favorite questions....
Really? It's that simple? Yep. Now the key is...don't look for the ANSWER! It might take some getting used to. In this reality we're taught to find answers. Just let the question hang out there unanswered and see what shows up. It might get uncomfortable...that's okay. If finding answers was the ticket...do you think any of us would still be trying to figure out our lives? Sound rebellious and a little fun, right? I bet you can't do it, and please don't. ;) You might start creating too much fun!
